OK Blogger Looks Into Loch Ness

I'd be curious to hear what you think of it, because I think the Loch Ness monster is total BS. It's impossible and it's absurd and it's a tourist trap. There's a lot of cryptids I keep my mind open to, but that is one that I am positively absolutely certain is not worth time and effort and interest. Now, I want to hear your take on it, buddy. You have a keen mind and I really appreciate your opinion.

I think, like with many of these various phenomena, that somewhere at the heart is a kernal of truth. However, I'm certain that most stories are fictitious bunk conjured by the unscrupulous or fantasy prone and that most images are hoaxes or misidentifications. However, it's legend reaches far back in time and it may be that something very curious (if not altogether explainable) has been witnessed from time to time. I can't help but think of that pink dolphin that was spotted in Louisiana a year or so ago. If there was a long-lived legend of pink dolphins but no proof, wouldn't it be treated the same way. I don't dismiss it out-of-hand, but I do dismiss many reports. I think this likely another case. In many ways, the popularity of any given "unexplained" phenomenon is a detriment to the unraveling of its mystery since so many want in on it - at any cost.
