Orbs = Dust! Shocking News Leaves A Couple People Stunned
Micah Hanks at Mysterious Universe bring us some startling news from the ParaScience organization, which has verified the theory that orbs caught on film and digital media are in fact merely dust particles and the like.
Yeah, most definitely. I took my camera when I first bought it and shot pictures outside with someone shaking a pollen covered bush, in the ice cold while breathing, during a dust storm, in a dusty house while stomping around, in sprinklers and rain and snow... I wanted to know how they came out on a digital camera and I only have perhaps 2 orbs that were completely unexplainable because of distance and being behind objects, but other than that...explainable and not proof of anything except that you're walking through a dusty home.
I've rarely gotten them, but then that's probably because I almost never use a flash. The few times I've just shot snapshots, I've gotten an "orb" or two. I think they're all pretty much bunk (you can click on the tag "orbs" to learn more about my feelings on the matter). However, I did get one conveniently in the same spot of a Tulsa theater said to be haunted by a former patron named "George". A great coincidence, I'm sure, but fun nonetheless.
