Expectum Soon! Harry Potter serves as a vehicle for the history of Science.

The US National Library of Medicine will be introducing Harry Potter fans to the very real traditions of Renaissance science upon which so much of the magic J. K. Rowling's best-selling books are based. "Harry Potter's World: Science, Magic, and Medicine" is a traveling program that will educate patrons on the arcanum that "played an important role in the development of Western science, including alchemy, astrology, and natural philosophy".
